About the Marketing Design Intern

The Marketing Design Intern is an important part to the successful workflow of design work at Verndale. The position will start out as a mixture of creative design for new, as well as production design for existing projects. We fully believe in having a global approach to creativity, and that includes allowing and empowering our groups to influence and lead projects.

We need someone who is not only willing to grow with the role, but be patient as we increase velocity on new, creative projects. We welcome diversity. We welcome professionalism. We welcome results.

Responsibilities

  •  Design Marketing collateral, including sales one-sheets, slicks, and white papers
  • Online ads
  • Powerpoint / Keynote Templates for Sales Pitches and Department Presentations
  • Infographics (online/offline)
  • Iconograph

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is highly creative and has been recognized for their work and ability to guide a creative and innovative resolution for enterprise-level clients. This position is a mixture of hands-on production and management. To that end, we would expect qualified candidates to possess: 

  • A collaborative approach that focuses on impactful design, creative problem solving and a commitment to client needs.
  • The ability to manage and maintain quality assurance on all deliverables.
  • Expert historical and proven evidence in the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Must have designed in a Power Point framework
  • A working knowledge of how HTML/CSS/Content Management systems function.
  • Brand Design Experience
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple weekly check-in reviews within a team setting.
