About the Technical Lead Position

The Technical Lead is a Technical Architect's right-hand man/woman and is relied upon for many of the concrete technical aspects of projects. There are a lot of similarities in the responsibilities of the Tech Architect and Technical Lead, but the Technical Lead will more than likely only be on one, maybe 2 projects, and be coding at least 30-50% of the time.

The overarching responsibilities of a Technical Lead are to consult with the Technical Architect on the vision for a project, create concrete and actionable architecture, and lead a team to execute on it.
