About the Traffic Coordinator Position 

Verndale is seeking a highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented self-starter capable of managing shifting priorities in a fast paced and challenging environment. The Traffic Coordinator position is a highly collaborative role that interacts with every department at Verndale, working particularly close with project management and team leadership. This individual will play a vital role in resource planning and long-term forecasting and will report directly to the VP of Project Management.  

Responsibilities 

  • Responsible for coordinating team resources and working with leadership to prioritize projects and team needs in the near and long term 
  • Ensures team members' work is planned accurately and works to maximize near-term billable utilization across the agency 
  • Proactively collaborates with resources and team management to understand ongoing needs, risks, issues and dependencies for team members within the organization 
  • Works with team leadership to identify open needs and manage team members across practices 
  • Reviews long term resource forecast reporting to help surface hiring needs 
  • Supports internal team through meeting facilitation and ongoing reporting 
  • Comfortable developing a repeatable process to look at team metrics and improve overall efficiency, team utilization, and process 

Qualifications 

  • 2-4 years of experience in an agency setting, preference to those with a background in digital 
  • Tempo Planner experience not required but preferred ​​​​​​
  • Experience supporting multiple team member disciplines (Creative, Tech, Marketing, QA, etc.) across distributed office and WFH settings. 
  • Approaches the challenges of an ambiguous, dynamic environment and rapidly changing responsibilities with a curious mindset and “get-the-job-done” mentality 
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of core business metrics and operations 
  • People-centric approach to problem solving and execution 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are essential 
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize, multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment 
  • Project Management experience not required, but a big plus
