Verndale is expanding its corporate marketing team, responsible for driving and managing Verndale’s brand growth. We are seeking a Marketing Analytics and Operations Director to lead and evolve our data-driven marketing efforts.

As the Marketing Analytics and Operations Director, your expertise will be crucial in shaping how data informs our marketing decisions and in managing the operational systems that help Verndale measure success. You will play a key role in enabling us to better connect with prospects and customers through data insights.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an evolving team in an organization experiencing significant growth. If you're an innovative thinker with hands-on experience in data and marketing systems, and you’re passionate about driving measurable impact, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

The Marketing Analytics and Operations Director will be responsible for building, measuring, optimizing, and scaling our marketing programs. This role is key to evaluating marketing performance, supporting demand generation, and integrated marketing campaigns, including:
Reporting:

  • Design and implement real-time tracking across paid, owned, and earned channels, developing a Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA) model to provide a holistic view of marketing touchpoints and their impact.
  • Build dashboards and reports to monitor the effectiveness of marketing activities.
  • Deliver insights to leadership on channel performance (web, media, email) relative to marketing objectives, with actionable recommendations for improving ROI.

Measurement:

  • Create measurement plans and “learning agendas” to define KPIs, desired outcomes, and projected performance.
  • Develop audience models to identify high-value prospects and inform acquisition and nurturing strategies.
  • Analyze SEO performance, organic traffic trends, and content engagement metrics to optimize digital marketing effectiveness.
  • Implement and manage on-site experimentation, including A/B testing, heatmapping, and UX analysis, to enhance site performance and landing page conversions.
  • Manage media campaign performance, defining success metrics, setting up tagging and tracking, and advising on ongoing optimization.

Automation:

  • Oversee lead management processes, including lead scoring, audience segmentation, and nurturing strategies, with an openness to exploring and applying AI to maximize marketing efficiency.
  • Own and continuously improve Verndale’s mar-tech stack, managing database health and lead management in collaboration with the Sales team.
  • Use audience segment insights to inform targeted messaging and improve engagement and conversion rates.

Management:

  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and management to one direct report.
  • Ensure marketing data privacy compliance, implementing governance frameworks for GDPR and CCPA where applicable.
  • Maintain vendor relationships for mar-tech stack, ensuring platform capabilities align with business goals and growth.

Qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in digital marketing analytics (Salesforce Sales Cloud, website, media).
  • Expertise with measurement platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Data Studio).
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with marketing data and analytics tools (e.g., SEMRush, Optimizely/ODP, ZoomInfo, 6Sense, Bombora).
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms, particularly Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot).
  • Strong SQL and advanced Excel skills are preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver compelling insights to senior audiences.
  • Proactive problem solver with a focus on innovation and results.
