Manager, FP&A
About the Role
We are looking for a Manager, FP&A with a strong foundation in accounting to play a critical role in both forward-looking financial planning and day-to-day accounting oversight. This high-visibility role sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and systems, reporting directly to the CFO and collaborating closely with the CEO and private equity sponsors.
This is a unique opportunity to step into a growth-focused platform company backed by private equity, where you will influence the company’s financial direction, strengthen core processes, and support expansion through acquisitions. The role offers a clear path to senior finance leadership (Controller or Director level) as the organization scales.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
- Develop insightful analyses and dashboards that inform executive decision-making
- Partner with business leaders to track performance and optimize profitability.
Accounting & Reporting
- Oversee consolidations and multi-entity accounting in compliance with GAAP.
- Manage monthly close and deliver timely, accurate financial statements.
- Enhance accounting processes and controls to support a scalable finance function.
Systems & Integration
- Leverage NetSuite, Power BI, and other tools to improve reporting and reduce manual work.
- Partner with IT and operations teams to streamline systems and workflows.
- Support automation initiatives that enhance financial visibility.
M&A Integration
- Play an active role in acquisition due diligence and post-deal integration.
- Standardize reporting and ensure consistency across acquired entities.
- Collaborate with leadership to align financial systems and practices with growth strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred).
- 5–7+ years of combined experience in accounting and FP&A, ideally in professional services.
- Strong expertise in consolidations, multi-entity accounting, and GAAP.
- Hands-on proficiency with NetSuite; experience with Power BI and Jira a plus.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, private equity–backed environment.
- Strong communication skills and executive presence to interact with C-level leaders and sponsors.
- Multinational exprience a plus

Compensation & Benefits
$120,000 - $150,000 USD
In accordance with applicable law, the above salary range provided is Verndale's reasonable estimate of the salary for this role. The actual amount may vary, based on non-discriminatory factors such as location, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities. In addition to salary, Verndale also offers a competitive benefits package.
